Story 1

Aran stood underneath the bus stop, he was staring across the street while the pattering of raindrops continued in the background. The sound echoed in his head and gave focus to the figure in his view. An elegant woman waited under an awning in front of a high-rise apartment building. Her vibrant red three button jacket could have been noticed from a while away. The sidewalks were busy with pedestrians, most of which appeared to be on a mission, moving briskly underneath their umbrellas. The tree-lined drive had a few cars, mostly taxis, although none were apparently allowed to park for extended periods of time as there was a lot of turnover since Aran had arrived. The well-to-do that lived here hid their cars in the back of the building in private parking while the few people who might have taken public transportation would be standing next to Aran at bus stop 51. He shook off his charcoal hoodie to try to get a little air between his body and is damp jacket. A black car arrived and the woman perked up, as did Aran. He took a small metal ball out of his pocket and held it between his thumb and forefingers. After a moment, it levitated out of his hand, flew directly towards the car and efficiently landed in the trunk lid gap. He took his phone out of his pocket and watched as a tracked dot moved away from the center of the screen. Upon looking up, the car was headed down the street.
